Elf Run is a 1k 3k & 5k untimed non competitive fun holiday run.
Join us for a merry and magical experience at our holiday Elf Run! Lace up your running shoes and don your elf-inspired attire as you embark on a festive adventure. This family- friendly event is filled with joy laughter and a dash of holiday cheer.
As you make your way through the twinkling course you’ll encounter enchanting decorations cheerful volunteers and perhaps even a surprise visit from Santa’s helpers for photo’s.
Whether you’re an experienced runner or simply looking to embrace the holiday spirit by walking the Elf Run is the perfect way to spread holiday cheer stay active and create lasting memories.
So gather your loved ones neighbors and co workers and channel your inner elf and let’s jingle all the way to the finish line!

Fall Forest Weekends at the New York Botanical Garden- November 2, 3, 9, & 10, 2024, 11:00 AM-4:00 PM
The Thain Family Forest—New York City’s largest remaining tract of old-growth woodland—is your fall foliage headquarters! Leaf locally and explore the Forest’s 50 acres full of vibrant fall color–a front row seat to the best views of the season right at home.
Food and drink are available for purchase during your visit at the Pine Tree Café, Looking Glass, and Hudson Garden Grill. Pick up an apple cider or hot chocolate to keep you warm during your exploration of the Thain Family Forest and other living collections.

Lehman Center for the Performing Arts is proud to present the I LIKE IT LIKE THAT on Saturday November 2 2024 at 8 PM. Directed by Waddy Jáquez and produced by David Maldonado and David Rodriguez the producers of the hit musical I LIKE IT LIKE THAT launch an electrifying concert tour featuring an all-star band and original cast performing extended versions of both beloved classics and new hits.
Lehman Center for the Performing Arts is on the campus of Lehman College/CUNY at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West, Bronx, NY 10468. Tickets for I LIKE IT LIKE THAT on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 8 pm (VIP $125, $95, $75, $60, $50) can be purchased by calling the Lehman Center box office at 718-960-8833; Para Español: 718-960-8835 (Monday through Friday, 10 am–5 pm, and beginning 4 hours prior to showtime on weekends), or through online access at https://www.lehmancenter.org/events/like-it-like-that.
The Lehman Center is accessible by #4 or D train to Bedford Park Blvd. and is off the Saw Mill River Parkway and the Major Deegan Expressway.
Patrons who purchase VIP tickets (first 9 rows of Orchestra Center) are invited to attend a special reception at 6:30pm on the day of the show. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres catered by Havana Cafe.
