Hacking StreetEasy: How to Reach the Listing Agent Every. Single. Time.

Have you ever found a gorgeous listing on StreetEasy and wanted to get more information about the home? I hear this all the time from home buyers- buyers will fill out a form to get more information and a few minutes later, hear from a random agent who is most certainly not the listing agent, and has no valuable information about the listing…

These agents are called “StreetEasy Premier Agents” and they pay big money to get buyer leads (like you) from StreetEasy. StreetEasy drives the buyer away from the listing agent and to a randomly-selected buyer’s agent in their program who may or may not service that particular neighborhood.

The problem is- this is incredibly (legal) predatory behavior on homebuyers because most of these “premier agents” do not properly disclose to the buyer who exactly they are, why they were put in touch with the buyer instead of the listing agent, or even what the benefit of working with them is- confusing buyers and putting them on the defense.
