Let’s see what the market’s doing this week in the Riverdale area of the Bronx.

Did You Know?

* Watch closely as today a federal antitrust trial starts that claims it could yield major benefits for home buyers……this is the legal battle fought by lawyers who stand to make a fortune claiming buyer agent commissions are ‘fixed’…… In my books, the fees a (professional) buyer’s agent earns are PRICELESS, and the claim that agents are fixing fees and overpaid has been amplified by many ‘reality-TV’ shows that broadcast a false narrative about how easy and quick it is to make millions showing a home while calculating your commission before opening the door……
* Some good economic news? Overall labor-force participation, at 62.8% is a half-point higher than the Congressional Budget Office had predicted it would be before the pandemic, a more active labor market now than in 2019 pre-Covid. U.S. crude oil production had hit an all-time high of 13.2 million barrels per day, which hopefully alleviates the inevitable supply disruptions that may come from the Middle East which could fuel inflation.
