This mid-century modern house is one of the newest additions to the neighborhood, and was built at a time after Fieldston relaxed its rules favoring traditional styles. This home, designed by Ferdinand Gottlieb, was noted by the American Institute of Architect’s Guide to New York City as a “formal modernist design in now-greyed redwood siding.” He was one of the first professors at NYU Schack Institute of real estate.
